NIETZ PTFE Thread Seal Tape, also known as Teflon tape or plumber's tape, is a thin, white, non-adhesive tape made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It's primarily used in plumbing for sealing threaded pipe connections to prevent leaks. The tape acts as a lubricant, allowing for a tighter fit of the threads, and also helps prevent the threads from seizing when being screwed or unscrewed.

Wrap the tape around the male thread in a clockwise direction (when facing the threaded end).

Ensure the tape is pulled tight during application and that it covers the threads completely.

Screw the fitting into place, ensuring it's not over-tightened, especially with plastic fittings.
